It's July 4th, chirpers. For those in the United States, that means it's Independence Day. For everyone else, it's Monday. Due to recent events dominating the news, I have a riddle you'll find the answer to at the bottom of the newsletter.

What right isn't specifically granted in the Constitution, but implied? Oh, you wouldn't want to share your internet searches, would you?

The Breakdown

A quick look around the world.

Britney Spears' former business manager may be in trouble. Britney Spears' lawyer is claiming the singer's former business manager Tri Star Sports and Entertainment, played a "substantial role" in her 14-year conservatorship and made $18 million from it, despite denials. The situation is only going to get uglier from here.

Ukraine pulls out of Lysychansk. Several hours ago, Ukraine was reported as pulling out of the city of Lysychansk, prompting Putin forces to claim full control of the eastern Luhansk region. However, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky vowed to regain lost territory. Ukrainian counter offenses have been successful in regaining territory and mostly bringing Putin's advance to a halt.

Cheaper photovoltaic energy for greenhouses may be the way forward. Photovoltaic greenhouses look to be an energy and cost-saving process in the energy-intensive agriculture sector. The method also allows for energy storage and reuse, an effective tool to help the environment.

Thousands Of Flights Delayed and Canceled During July 4th Weekend

The busiest air travel day in years was on Friday.

On Friday, July 1st, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) screened over 2.4 million travelers at airport security. That was the highest checkpoint volume since February 11, 2020, when over 2.5 million were screened, the agency announced in a tweet.

On the same day, 464 United States domestic and international flights were canceled, and 6,657 were delayed, according to FlightAware. Today, as of the publishing of Early Chirp 8,036, flights have already been delayed, along with 1,079 cancellations.

The news shows individuals are comfortable traveling again, despite COVID-19 remaining a reality, and highlights the unpreparedness of airlines that remain inefficient during the busiest times of the year.

With the onset of continued economic concerns, inflation, rising gas prices, and anxiety over Supreme Court rulings -- travel may slow down in general, as US citizens have already changed their travel plans to accommodate for the current economic reality.

If people get to relax for one weekend, it's a bonus. Let's hope they were doing so safely and didn't get caught up in the horrible air traffic conditions over the weekend.

Copenhagen Mall Shooter Known to Psychiatric Professionals

A shooter in Denmark was known to psychiatric professionals police say after he killed three on Sunday.

While Denmark has 7 times less gun crime per 100 residents than the United States, the country was rocked by a mass shooting on Sunday. The Danish capital of Copenhagen saw an individual open fire in a shopping mall named Field's in an incident that killed three people and injured four others.

"There is no indication the suspect was acting with others but there is still a massive investigation ongoing to make sure this is the case," said Soren Thomassen, Copenhagen's Head of Police, during a press conference earlier today.

Thomassen said there was no indication the shooting was an act of terror or motivated by bigotry of any sort. Police were able to detain the suspect 13 minutes after receiving the first emergency call regarding the incident -- an impressive feet.

Police said the shooter was known to psychiatric professionals, opening questions regarding the shooter's mental state, access to firearms, and the extent of issues prior to the shooting.

The last mass shooting incident in Copenhagen happened in 2016 when one individual was killed and three others injured. It's unclear whether Denmark will revisit its gun laws at this time.

New Witnesses Coming Forward After Hutchinson's Testimony

Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony is motivating others to come forward.

Congressman Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) revealed Cassidy Hutchinson's January 6, 2021 hearing last week is motivating numerous individuals to come forward.

"She's been inspiring for a lot of people," Kinzinger said Sunday on CNN's State of the Union. He continued, "Every day, we get new people that come forward and say, 'hey, I didn't think maybe this piece of the story that I knew was important, but now that you guys are talking' --I do see this plays in here."

Unlike other members of the Republican party, Kinzinger admits Hutchinson's testimony is important and doesn't claim that she was lying. Kinzinger confirmed the January 6th committee finds her credible despite partisan outcries from those who are still attempting to gain Trump's favor.

Why are Republican politicians still focused on Trump?

There are rumors he could announce a 2024 run for President of the United States in the immediate future. Kinzinger didn't hold back in the critique of some of his fellow party members like South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem who have attacked Hutchinson, "But she [Hutchinson] has a commitment to truth that somebody like Kristi Noem, for instance, and most people in our party would actually benefit to take just a 10 percent ounce of."

Ouch...

Speaking of, do you remember the riddle earlier?

The answer is 'Right to privacy.' The following Constitutional amendments have been used to protect privacy rights (get ready). 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 9th, and 14th.

Makes one think, doesn't it?
